Rumors of Spotify's entrance into web3 have been simmering for now.

Spotify has officially integrated NFTs into their coveted content streaming platform, allowing artists to show off their colorful creations!

Upon clicking an NFT shown in a creator's gallery, it will immediately redirect you to the NFT on OpenSea. As of now, it seems Spotify's NFT integration currently stands strictly as a gallery. 

Despite the newly added integration, it's no more than an experiment, as mentioned by a Spotify spokesman:

"Spotify is running a test in which it will help a small group of artists promote their existing third-party NFT offerings via their artist profiles...We routinely conduct a number of tests in an effort to improve artist and fan experiences. Some of those tests end up paving the way for a broader experience and others serve only as an important learning."

Throughout Web3's recent emergence, many of the music industry's top dogs have left quite a mark. Some of which include:
