Amid NEAR's new $350M funding round, the blockchain has a lot in store for its NEAR future. See what I did there?

For those unaware, the NEAR protocol is a Sharded PoS smart contract blockchain created to disrupt and solve the problems blockchains have at scale. The platform provides developers and others looking to get into web3 the tools needed to succeed.

Two days ago, NEAR hosted a town hall providing a deep dive into everything happening within the NEAR ecosystem. Some of the highlights include:

• 40,000 students and 120 NEAR-certified teachers

• Partnerships with SailGP, Unchain, and Brave

• Involvement at Paris Blockchain Week Summit

• Growth among NEAR's DAO ecosystem

NEAR's ever-growing slew of technology has certainly surprised me. From a researcher's standpoint, NEAR combines the best aspects of the world's leading blockchains. Conviction leads me to believe that NEAR is creating something truly beneficial to web3!

Following up on what was mentioned within yesterday's newsletter, price action has continued to consolidate just below Ethereum's major demand zone. 

At the time of writing this, Ethereum doesn't seem to be favoring one direction over another. Yet, it may not be long before we find out where ETH goes from here.

Taking a look at the S&P 500, price action seems to be holding just above a notable demand zone. Taking in to consideration the recent rise in price action, a small pullback shouldn't be too scary. Yet, anything below the level we're currently held at may indicate some further downside!

Getting attention from a verified user on any platform is freaking awesome! If anyone knows what I'm talking about, it feels like you're talking to a celebrity. 

Prior to my arrival on Twitter, a scenario like this would only ever happen once in a blue moon. Now, it's like I can't get away from these "verified accounts." 

Here's a recent scam tweet I found via a Decrypt article:

At least once a day, I get tagged in the comment section of a tweet claiming to have been awarded the opportunity to mint a BAYC NFT for the affordable low price of .04 ETH. While it's rather apparent that it's a scam, it doesn't help that the Tweet almost always comes from a verified account. 

If you ever get tagged in a post like this, block and report the account immediately. Don't ever think about hitting the link attached; it'll lead to nothing but rubbish!

Nevertheless, accidents happen. If you don't already own a hardware wallet, I recommend Ledger.
