If you've been on over the past two days, you may have noticed a new change in scenery. 

According to OpenSea's blog, May 26th marked the start of a fresh new look and feel for OpenSea. With each update they plan to release in the coming weeks, they intend to redirect their platform's focus to a more community-driven marketplace.

With simplification in mind, the team aspires to create a platform with "richer experiences." 

In addition to the visual side of things, internal optimization was also done to make the user experience "quicker and more responsive."

Here's the rundown:

• Profile Pages got a new look providing users with new personalization options and more straightforward navigation.

• Collection Pages also got a new fresh look, yet nothing in terms of new features was added despite the visual change. They essentially just rearranged the page's layout to make it look more ✨aesthetic✨.

Alongside OpenSea's new Seaport protocol, the marketplace seems to be revamping its entire marketplace to optimize as much as humanly possible!

Two days ago, the S&P 500 saw an explosive bounce off the $400 support zone after news that inflation was easing.

While the wall street sediment reflects upon the crypto market, we saw virtually zero upside momentum. Instead, we saw more downside pressure.

As it stands, we currently trade at the last significant support zone before we enter freefall. If we don't see a bounce here, we might not see one for a while.

This is awkward... a little over two weeks ago, I announced I'd continue doing STEPN updates weekly.

Two weeks later (present), we're here with people asking me on Twitter about my STEPN updates. I've been lacking...

Quick side note for our newer newsletter subs, about a month and a half ago, I got a STEPN sneaker. Post-purchase, I began doing daily STEPN updates until it got repetitive and boring. I announced I'd switch over to weekly updates from that point on!

Nevertheless, a lot has happened (with STEPN's ecosystem and my journey), and I'm here to cure your curiosity.

Starting off with the STEPN drama:

Starting July 15th, STEPN users in China will no longer be able to generate GST (the ecosystem's payout token) in an attempt to comply with the geographic data restrictions currently upheld in China.

Upon news's release, both GST and GMT (the ecosystem's governance) plummeted, but not as bad as you'd think. Prior to the announcement, GST was trading around $2.50, and GMT was at approximately $1.23. Post announcement GST fell to a low of $1.52, and GMT fell to a low of $0.83

How I took advantage 😈:

In Friday's GST/GMT/SOL selloff, I took to STEPN and found that higher-level sneakers were selling for a fraction of the price they typically sell for. I did some quick math, sold my sneaker, and bought a level 28 walker for 31 SOL (approximately $1400).

To my luck, GST (now trading at $1.96) and GMT (now at $1.05) recovered, level 28 sneakers are now selling for about 38 SOL.

I swooped in at the perfect time! :)
