👟Nike's $37,000 NFT investment...

RTFKT's new ENS domain, CRYPTO BOUNCE, ETH gas is on SALLLEE

GM!

Hey everyone, and welcome to another issue of NFToday!

For my U.S. readers, Happy Memorial Day!!!

Enjoy your day off, and be sure to spend some time with the ones you love the most!

The juicer the burger, the BETTER!

Now, on to the news!

In today's newsletter:

👟 Nike's in BIG on ENS...

📈 I like what I'm seeing!

⛽ ETH gas is on sale!

19.72 ETH for dotswoosh.eth

dotswoosh.eth

It's safe to say that Nike has solidified itself as one of the most prominent players within the NFT/Web3 ecosystem.

With projects and airdrops ranging from CloneX to MNLTH, utility will always be at the forefront of their next move.

Yet, what's Nike/RTFKT with a lame and generic 42-digit ETH address...

RTFKT's newest NFT investment comes in the form of an ENS domain "dotswoosh.eth," which sold for a whopping 19.72 ETH

Despite the lofty investment, this isn't RTFKT's first run of the mill when it comes to ENS names. Just to name a few, RTFKT also owns:

  • rtfkt.eth

  • spacedrip.eth

  • mintvial.eth

  • dreamos.eth

  • drmos.eth

According to their address on etherscan, it seems RTFKT is currently rocking artifacts.eth.

After the news hit the public, a whole slew of "Nike related" ENS domains were scooped up and sold, with some including:

  • nike-dri-fit.eth

  • nikevision.eth

I've yet to secure NFToday.eth, but hopefully, I'll have the funds in the future to do so!

WHAT A BOUNCE!

Bitcoin Daily - Webull

Yesterday, Bitcoin ramped up and surpassed $30,000 in just a few hours.

Despite the runup, Bitcoin currently seems to be having trouble surpassing through its $30,500 - $31,500 resistance zone.

Yet, if the stock market poses another green day tomorrow (closed today due to Memorial Day), Bitcoin and other notable cryptos could gain some momentum in the following days and weeks.

While something like that would be ideal, it's not guaranteed.

Nevertheless, it's always to see some green!

ETH txn fee hits a ten month low:

While gas for our cars is hitting all-time highs, digital gas is quite the opposite.

"The average Ethereum network fee has dropped to the lowest value recorded in over ten months, after fees hit a low of $2.96 per transaction on Sunday afternoon (ET). The last time ethereum transfer fees dropped below the $3 mark was last year on July 11, 2021. Moreover, median fees are even cheaper, as the median-sized ethereum transaction fee on May 29 is around 0.00086 ether or $1.56 per transfer." - excerpt from an article written by Jamie Redman on Bitcoin.com.

There's no better time to mint those contracts, transfer your assets, send ETH, or do any other maintenance needed to be done.

Stay efficient y'all!
