Hello Kitty NFTs?

B3i goes bankrupt, ETH is flying, and Hello Kitty NFTs?

GM frens

Hey, and welcome back to another issue of NFToday!

Something about taking two days off in a row just felt off, yet I'm loving it. I've been writing and preparing so much content for the upcoming days and such.

I wanted to thank everyone for the reassuring words on Twitter and those in support of my tri-weekly newsletter transition.

Y'all are incredible!

Without further ado, let's hop in!

In today's newsletter:

  • B3i goes bankrupt

  • Holy Pump

  • Hello Kitty NFTs?

RIP B3i

B3i, a blockchain insurance initiative founded back in 2016, announced yesterday that it'd be filing for insolvency.

Over the years, B3i has accumulated significant funding and support from some of the biggest names in insurance.

Some of the firm's clients include:

  • Liberty Mutual

  • Swiss Re

  • Aegon

  • Generali

With the company's previous funding and praise, many were surprised to hear the announcement. Despite the slight crypto rebound we're encountering, crypto and blockchain technology are still facing the wrath of the current bear market.

As it stands, a failed funding round seems to be the only known reason why the company has fallen under.

As more information surfaces, I'll keep you updated!

Wow ETH...

Ethereum 2hr - Webull

After a slight sell-off, the bulls clapped back with some crazy green price action.

Not only did the bullish price action completely swallow up the red, but it also broke above ETH's $1,650 with ease.

Following the breakout, ETH is forming a beautiful 2-hour bull flag right above the currency's previous $1,700 support level.

This influx of price action likely results from following the reassurance the fed provided that the U.S. is "not heading towards a recession," despite the increase in rate hike.

Things are looking up, my frens!

Hello Kitty on the blockchain?

Hello Kitty and Friends World - Recur

Recur has officially teamed up with Sanrio to announce the Hello Kitty and Friends NFT collection!

For those who are unaware, Recur is an end-to-end NFT/Blockchain agency dedicated to helping web2 IPs build on-chain branded experiences! Some of their most notable IP partnerships have been with:

  • Nickelodeon

  • Care Bears

  • Star Trek

Bringing the cute and colorful world of Hello Kitty really does seem like a no-brainer. They've already got everything from characters to accessories; the only real challenge is implementing the blockchain tech and utility!

As more information on the collection gets released, I'll be sure to keep you updated!
