For those who follow the world of finance and Wallstreet, Ray Dalio is the founder of the world's most prominent hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates. Currently, the fund controls $150 billion in assets.

According to a recent article by Coindesk, the fund has no intention of investing directly into crypto. Despite this, they plan to back an external vehicle that actively engages with digital currency. What precisely that vehicle is, is yet to be disclosed. Yet, any "small" investment by a fund like this has the power to move markets.

This is not Dalio's first time dabbling in the world web3. Near the start of 2021, Dalio applauded the creation of Bitcoin and its utility. A few months ago, Dalio followed up his past claim disclosing that he's a personal investor in Bitcoin and Ethereum.

I don't want to be the guy that says I told you so, but I told you so. Ethereum's break and retest off the previous resistance level was textbook. At the time of writing this, the price of Ethereum is currently consolidating above $3,000. If we can hold this level, we're golden! 

In terms of other notable coins:

• According to technical analysis, Bitcoin still has some time before breaking out of its current triangle pattern.

• Solana recently bounced off of its $80 support level.

• XRP is slowly but steadily climbing.

• Tether is still at $1 (thank God).

Time Magazine is by no means new to the web3 space. In the recent past, the media company has:

• Auctioned off notable magazine covers as NFTs.

• Made it possible to pay for subscriptions with other coins such as XRP, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and Bitcoin.

• Recently featured Vatalik Buterin on the publication's cover.

Now is no different; Time Magazine has officially announced that it intends to offer its readers the option to pay with $APE. Time Magazine is one of many organizations that have decided to take advantage of the coin's open-source protocol as a means of currency.

Hey everyone, my name is Hunter Maier! A few months ago, I took the plunge into web3. I devoted myself to learning the ecosystem, technology, and innovation behind it. As an entrepreneur, I knew I wanted to build and make a lasting impact on the growing community that web3 represents. Many would say, "Hey, you should create an NFT project." While this idea isn't out of the realm of possibility, I'm definitely in no place to create a project at this point in my life. In addition to this thought process, creating an NFT project requires immense dedication and passion, which I'm not as enthusiastic about at this juncture. Despite this, I'm not someone who likes to sit around and do nothing. That's why I'm writing! The newsletter you're reading right now was created to encompass my journey through web3 while providing an entertaining and detailed source of news and alpha. Regardless of whether or not this newsletter becomes something more significant than it currently is in the future, it incentivizes my accountability to continue learning and understanding web3.

I'm not an A+ writer, and I'm not (yet) an expert on web3. My true intent is for readers to enjoy this newsletter just as much as I enjoy writing it!
