Day 2: The Motivation of Reassessment
The Motivation of Reassessment
GM frens
Welcome to another issue of the great newsletter on Earth (no bias).
For those who didn't end up getting out to reading yesterday's newsletter, first of all, you're lame, second of all, I announced that I impulsively decided to go on vacation!
Rather than leave my dedicated subs in the dust, I created an Ultimate 4 Part Web3 Networking Guide to keep everyone happy, educated, and entertained! We're currently on day 2!
This 4 part guide will consist of:
The Importance of Sentiment Exchange
The Motivation of Reassessment
The Influx New Opportunities
The Good and Bad of Making Connections
With that being said, let’s get on with the second guide!
2: The Motivation of Reassessment
Resilience is one of my favorite motivational words, so much so that I have it written on a flashcard and pinned above my desk.
In any endeavor, resilience is truly one of the most beneficial skills you can have. On your path to success, you'll face more hardships and roadblocks than anything else.
Depending on the roadblock, the solution may not be as clear as opposed to past hurdles.
Having a network to turn to in times of seeking an alternate solution is exceedingly beneficial to you and your endeavor. Sometimes, all you need is a different perspective/new set of eyes on the matter.
This is the motivation of assessment from individuals.
Not only that, sharing your opinions, advice, problems, and more to others helps convey trust and engagement of the community.
Others may not be inclined to help, simply because they don't care, but treat the ones who do with respect, patience, and openness. These will be the ones you take the top.
Micro Communities
I've spoken a number of times on the importance of niching down, finding your whole in the ecosystem, and capitalizing on it.
Within your niche, or even slightly outside of it, find people with similar interests, business models, content, etc. Introduce yourself, maybe hop on a call, and create a Twitter groupchat with that small group.
For example, I was recently added to a small Twitter group chat of just 6 people geared towards writing and developing web3 content.
Not only do these small groups keep you motivated, they keep you accountable.
This is the motivation of assessment from groups.
Taking a Look Back
One of the most valuable aspects of documenting everything you do is having the ability to see how far you've come.
I recently took a look at a few of the first newsletters I wrote, only to realize how far I've come. Everything from sentence structure, to word usage has become exponentially better. Without assessing my previous work, I never would've been able to realize how far I've become.
Growth and repetition in tandem is a motivation of and in itself.
This is the reassessment of yourself.
TL;DR
Don't be closed minded
Embrace new perspectives
You don't know everything
