Bridging the Metaverse Gap!

Hey, and welcome back to another issue of NFToday!

As per my past rant on being "pooped," I decided to take the advice of my followers and get out of the house!

I had an incredible day by the beach, playing volleyball and grubbing.

The weather was immaculate! My feet in the sand brought a new meaning to the term "go touch some grass."

Either way, I'm back! I hope you have an incredible weekend!

• I sensed wrong...

• FC Barcelona's Web3 Entrance!

There's a new DAO in town, and it's called OMA3!

Several of Web3's most prevalent Metaverse companies came together to create the Open Metaverse Alliance of Web3. Together they intend to:

"...ensure virtual land, digital assets, ideas, and services are highly interoperable between platforms and transparent to all communities." - OMA3 Website.

Think Polkadot, but for Metaverses!

Some of the most notable companies currently enrolled include:

• Animoca Brands

• Decentraland

• The Sandbox

• Dapper Labs

• Upland

If executed correctly, this will be a MASSIVE step in the right direction towards streamlining Metaverse tech. 

Transferring items, loot, wearables, and other metaverse goodies among other metaverse platforms will help embody everything that web3 truly represents. 

Yet, a feature like this only scratches the surface.

I don't know about you guys, but my Oculus is ready to go!

I'll admit it, I was wrong...

For those who didn't read my last published issue, I felt the bears would reveal themselves. Yet, it seems hibernation could be upon us!

Despite the sudden drops in price action, each dip was followed by a jolt of bullish price action. While we continue to trade within this new range, a breakthrough of $1,650 would be ideal.

Do we continue higher? Only time will tell!

FC Barcelona, arguably the world's most dominant and well-known football club, is taking a stab at web3 with its "In a Way, Immortal" NFT. 

The NFT is a 40-second cinematic film with audio showing off Johan Cruyff's iconic 1973 flying kick and goal. The visual experience was created by 40+ CG and VFX artists to create the one-of-kind masterpiece.

Cruyff will mark the start of 10 uniquely crafted commemorable NFTs!

The live auction for this insane piece of art will begin on July 29th at 1:00 EDT.
