3 and 4 digit ENS domains were all the buzz yesterday on Twitter as people realized their true potential.

For those unaware of ENS or Ethereum Name Service, it's essentially a decentralized nametag/username for wallets, websites, & more. For example, say you wanted to transfer some assets to a friend. Instead of imputing your friend's 42-character ETH address, you could use your friend's ENS domain "johnny.eth".

A combination of factors drove many to start minting, some of which include:

• Only 10k 4-digit ENS domains will exist

• ENS could grow to be like email w/ billions of users

• Provably scarce and part of a recognizable collection - may help solve domain illiquidity

• 4 digits is short enough to use

• Numbers often have significance to people

ENS domains currently cost approximately:

• .234 ETH to mint a 3 digit ENS

• .066 ETH to mint a 4 digit ENS

When at the time of writing this

• 3 digit domains are trading anywhere from 3 to 6 ETH

• 4 digit domains are trading around .3 to .5 ETH.

The pump is crazy, I don't even think the art is that great...

It's safe to say that our crypto portfolios have had a better day...

Nevertheless, I wanted to take a step back and remind everyone that we're in it for the long term! While the charts may look nasty on the smaller time frames, just look at the beauty of Bitcoin's weekly chart.

Trust me, I get it! Seeing nothing but red within your wallet is a hard bullet to bite, yet those who think with a year-to-year mindset will consistently outperform those with a day-to-day mindset.

Patience is king!

ApeCoin is up 35% within the past seven days as it clocks in at $20.13 per coin! As a result, ApeCoin has become the largest Metaverse coin by market cap, beating out:

• MANA (Decentraland) - $3.4B

• SAND (The Sandbox) - $2.9B

• AXS (Axie Infinity) - $2.4B

The pump in price is directly related to the announcement of Yuga Lab's metaverse endeavor "the Otherside," scheduled to release this Saturday (4/30) at 12 PM ET. As a result, BAYC and MAYC holders are loading up in anticipation!
